Game Creation

So far. I am in the pre-production phase of game creation...

I am making the decisions of what engine i am going to use. there are 3 engines i am looking at:

1. UDK (BSP based engine, great for indoor levels)
2. Unity (Great Terrain Editor, Easiest of the engines, can render to all systems)
3. CryEngine 3 ( also great for outdoor levels)

UDK has the best licensing option so far, with 99 dollars to start. CryTech makes you email them before you find out the options, and Unity is probably the most expensive, costing 1500 for the base license, not including android or ios.

The problems i may have with udk is learning how to build to scale and how to utilize good camera movement in-engine. also, placing AI and Characters in engine. I will be learning from the ground up and ill be posting my findings
