In school, one thing i am known for is my background music that I did in my animations. Since I've been doing Hip-Hop music since 2005, music has been a very important part of my life. at one point, it wasnt...
in 1997 I was becoming tired of music altogether, Each song was the same song recycled.I stopped listening to music. I watched the TV on mute. It was insane. I started playing final fantasy VII and while listening to the score it was breathtaking at the time. I, at one point of the game, stopped moving so i could listen to the theme song of the world map. when Aeris died, that music was extremely emotional. It was, and still is one of the most amazing soundtracks i have ever heard.....ever....
I then decided that I wanted to make music for video games. i wanted everyone to feel as though they were on an adventure. and 10 years later, I sampled "One Winged Angel" as well as a couple of more, in a few songs. Although some thought it was overkill, I felt at that time that i should pay homage to Nobuo Uematsu for the inspiration. I hope, with the games i help create, i inspire people as much as this inspired me.
Other awesome soundtracks: the chrono cross OST, the Super Mario 64 intro song. Super Mario Brothers, the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time (youtube people playing the ocarina to the songs, its amazing). and Final Fantasy X.
